With the Stelvio National Park and a range of three-thousander peaks, the diverse landscape of the Ortles region is ideal for mountain bikers, racing cyclists and recreational cyclists alike. Those who cycle for pleasure will enjoy experiencing the varied Vinschgau landscape on the flat valley floor around the Ortles and riding the Via Claudia Augusta (an ancient Roman road) in the Stelvio National Park. Even the pros can be spotted here!

With the spectacular 3,000-meter peaks of the Ortles area and the Stelvio National Park, climbing fans seeking a vertical adventure will find multiple guided tours and opportunities to practise via ferrata. The Tabaretta Climbing Wall in Solda (3.150 m) is very difficult and thrilling. During the ascent you have always the Ortler north-face set in your sights. The fixed rope route calls for concentration, experience and climbing technique:  airy passages, exposed crossings and steep and clean rocks made him to be the most difficult in South Tyrol.
